Wondershare MobileTrans is a smartphone data transfer program for use with Windows PCs.

Transferring data from your phone has, in the past, been something of a nightmare. While your friendly phone store might offer the service, they really only transfer over the basics - your contacts and possibly your pictures, if you're lucky. Unfortunately, people have become reliant on their smartphones for far more data storage than that. It's always taken a bit of work to get the rest of the data off an old phone, but Wondershare MobileTrans does aim to make that process just a bit easier. While not a perfect program, it does solve a few major problems.

The good news is that Wondershare works well with both iPhones and Android phones. You shouldn't have any problem moving your relevant data from your phone to your PC and back, and it's easy enough to move things from multiple devices that you shouldn't have many worries if you choose to switch brands every two years. The transfers aren't perfect and there's always a bit of data that won't make it through, but the bulk of what you need can transfer between phones with no major problems. This is about as good a solution as you're going to get.

There are some minor interface issues with the program and there's always a threat of compatibility issues cropping up, but Wondershare typically works as advertised. If you want to move more off of a phone than just your contacts, this is a spectacular program. Don't expect more from it than what it can offer, and you'll be very happy with what you get.
